Terms of Service — DepAudit

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DepAudit ("Service") at depaudit.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms with at least 30 days' notice of material changes.

2. Description of Service

DepAudit is a dependency auditor that detects hallucinated, vulnerable, and deprecated packages in AI-generated code. The Service provides informational scan reports only — it does not guarantee that all vulnerabilities or problematic dependencies will be detected.

Important disclaimer: DepAudit's analysis is based on available vulnerability databases and heuristic detection. Results are advisory and may contain false positives or miss undisclosed vulnerabilities. You are solely responsible for verifying dependency security before deploying to production. DepAudit is not a substitute for professional security auditing.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

3. User Accounts

Some features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality, all account activity, providing accurate information, and notifying us of unauthorised use. You must be at least 16 years of age.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Submit code containing real credentials or API keys belonging to others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Circumvent rate limits or access controls
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights in code you submit. By submitting code, you grant DepAudit a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process it solely for providing the Service. The DepAudit application and branding are the property of CeciArt Consulting Ltd.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds. Contact billing@ceciart.io for refund requests.

7. Free Tier

Limited to 2 scans per month. No uptime or support SLA guaranteed.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. DEPAUDIT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT VULNERABILITY DATA IS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR CURRENT. SCAN RESULTS ARE ADVISORY ONLY.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CECIART CONSULTING LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING SECURITY BREACHES OR DATA LOSS RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON SCAN RESULTS.

TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR £100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify CeciArt Consulting Ltd from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations. You may terminate your account at any time via support@ceciart.io.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
